It is estimated that 3 - 4% of children develop some form of lazy eye (amblyopia) in their early years.Patching is one of the most effective and frequently used methods to correct amblyopia. The patching process, however, can be trying for both parent and child.This booklet contains suggestions aimed at helping families with the patching process, and includes information about patching, tips for patching and suggested activities to encourage the child.
